first of all the bbc series of seven ages of rock was a superb look at how rock gone from being a four piece skiffle group to the stratocasting sensation of Jimi Hendrix but the same couldn’t be said for this compilation. its still a best ever compilation but its let down by not including exlcusive tracks that where seen and heard from the same show of the same same they could have included Jimi Hendrix singing all along the watchtower and REM’s to the one i love to complete the track listing which has stopped me giving it the five stars it deserves!
