It seems that producer-director Ashutosh Gowariker success rate is solely dependent on signature period sagas. After 'Lagaan' and 'Jodha Akbar', it's the youth revolutionary flick 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se' from his kitty. Based on the Manini Chatterjee novel 'DO AND DIE: The Chittagong Uprising 1930', the movie is a period thriller highlighting India's struggle for independence. Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, the movie features Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the leading roles. The film has been produced by Ajay Bijli, Sanjeev K Bijli, and Sunita Gowariker, under the banner Ashutosh Gowariker and PVR Pictures. The serious and energetic soundtrack of the movie, composed by Sohail Sen and penned by renowned Javed Akhtar, oozes out sense of patriotism.
