Charles Wilcox III, a young graduate student in religion and philosophy is going crazy. His biological father carried a deadly secret about Charles to his grave Charles has the blood of the Nephilim, the descendants of the union of angels and men. As he matures, Charles must receive special knowledge dispensed only by other descendants of the Nephilim or he will go mad. Charles loses interest in his studies, is cut off from his family, and tried desperately to hold on to his sanity when he is contacted by three dead little girls, bringing warnings from his father from beyond the grave. Hana, his girlfriend, and Logan, his best friend, pay the ultimate price for trying to help Charles as his personality violently disintegrates, leaving only death in his path.
