Rowan Atkinson and the cast of the classic comedy The Black-Adder are back for a one-off documentary special. The much-loved sitcom was first shown in 1983 and this anniversary programme marks 25 years of cunning plans and dastardly deeds.
The documentary includes an in-depth interview with Edmund Blackadder himself, Rowan Atkinson. Although there was a 25th anniversary tribute on Gold a few months back, Atkinson was conspicuous by his absence. This will be the first time that he's been interviewed about his involvement in the sitcom and its phenomenal success. Set to join Atkinson are the core cast and writing team who have gone on to become some of the greatest names in entertainment, including Stephen Fry, Hugh Laurie, Richard Curtis, Ben Elton, Miranda Richardson, Tim McInnerny and Tony Robinson.
