Birugaali

Choreographer Harsha's second directorial venture Birugaali is an action film with the story which is as old as the vachanas in the Kannada literature. No freshness in the story is the main draw back of this film which is however strong in action and song sequences. Chethan who has done some good work in his debut film Aa Dinagalu has taken up a new role that can re invent him in the action oriented role. The fights are the real highlight of the film as much as Venu's class camera work. Arjun has composed variety music for this film. Chethan has struggled hard to look convincing in his role. Sithara Vaidya looks cute in the song situations. A huge production no doubt, but if the story element had some thing contemporary the film could have been much appreciated. An enjoyable film.
